You cannot buy a wrestling video and just watch it once. In order to get better you have to study wrestling just like you would for your school work. Today, I would like to talk about how to effectively use a wrestling dvd to make you a better wrestler.
The first time you watch a wrestling instructional dvd, you should watch it all the way through. This will tell you what the instructor is focused on and give you an overall understanding of the dvd.
After the first time, you should watch one chapter at a time.
This allows you to focus on the technique that is being taught in that chapter. It will allow you to focus on a small set of move when it comes time to drill those moves.
You need to do this with every chapter in that dvd. Over time, you will realized the small investment you made is well worth it when you become a better wrestler. It can take weeks to months to fully understand all the moves in a wrestling instructional dvd.
